About me

A Korean-American born in Queens and raised in New Jersey, I studied writing at Carnegie Mellon University and graduated with a social sciences degree from Harvard University’s Extension School.

I started my career at Citizen Schools, an education nonprofit based in Boston, MA, where I developed and produced content for fundraising campaigns.

After moving to Los Angeles, I made a shift into advertising. As agency producer at 160over90 and Deutsch LA, I produced all kinds of campaigns with a focus on social/digital projects. Currently, I’m Marketing Manager/Producer at Animated Storyboards, an animatics production house that offers 2D, 3D and AI animation services.

This was the sky one afternoon after stepping out of my apartment in Koreatown. No filter, no editing, just pure (chemical-pink?) sky.
This was a random hill on the way to a park when I lived in DTLA. Every time I did this walk, this part always moved me—something about the sun on the building, mountains and empty street.
I went to Europe for the first time in September 2019 and started my trip with two weeks in northern Spain alone. La Sagrada Familia took my breath away—I was there for hours. Antoni Gaudí is an inspiration.
We stopped by these cliffs on our drive along the coast of northern Spain. European coastlines look more ancient and weathered to me.
So I wasn't totally alone in Spain. I signed up for an eating tour with a singles group, which turned out to be me and 3 Australian senior citizens. We turned a lot of heads during our two weeks together and honestly, I had a blast!
Ah, to go back to Tulum and jump into this pristine cenote! There was actually an underwater wedding photoshoot happening when I took this photo—that's how clear this water was.
